On an innovation journey with the German Accelerator

Our co-founders Dr Milad Geravand (CEO) and Simon Fiechtner (Head of Business Development) recently travelled to the USA together - as part of the renowned German Accelerator Programme. The aim was to gain deeper insights into the future of HealthTech, artificial intelligence and the US healthcare market in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Austin (Texas) and the New York region.

Here you can see our co-founders Mild and Simon at PlugandPlay in the USA.

The trip offered an intensive learning curve: In workshops, one-on-one discussions and networking formats, the two met not only renowned researchers - including from Stanford and Berkeley - and successful tech founders, but also wellbeing and HSE managers from large companies, corporate health providers, health insurers, go-to-market and legal advisors and investors with a focus on HealthTech. This multi-perspective exchange was particularly valuable for us in order to better understand current developments in the fields of prevention, artificial intelligence and healthcare - and to provide impetus for the further development of our solution. Isa to collect.

SXSW & US market: First steps and great response

A particular highlight was our participation in the world-famous innovation conference SXSW in Austin. Deep Care presented itself there as one of ten selected German AI start-ups on the stage of the German House. The response to our solution Isa was consistently positive - both among investors and representatives from the corporate world and the healthcare sector.

This is because prevention has a different priority in the USA - not least because healthcare is expensive and not accessible across the board. The interest in affordable, technology-based healthcare solutions is correspondingly high - especially in the area of corporate health.

Growth with responsibility

This trip was not a classic expansion step - it was primarily a learning journey. Our aim was to understand how prevention is thought about in other markets, what impetus we can take with us and how we can further improve Deep Care for our customers in Germany as a result.

Thank you, German Accelerator!

A big thank you goes to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the German Accelerator team - especially Melinda Wong, Kiran Cartolari and Cecille Almeda - for this great opportunity and the inspiring network.

We are looking forward to the next steps - in Germany, in Europe and perhaps soon in the USA.
